PDP National Secretariat Re-Opens

The National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has re-opened  today being Tuesday, the 31st of  May, 2016 for work after a week of barricade by the Nigerian Police Force.

The Party Secretariat was sealed-off on Sunday, 22nd of May 2016 by the Police to maintain law and order following the aftermath of the National Convention in Port Harcourt on the 21st of May, 2016.

According to the Secretary of the Board of Trustees (BoT), Amb. Chief Ojo Maduekwe, the National Secretariat is opened  to Establishment staff of the Party only pending the peaceful resolution of the current leadership crisis soonest.

The Secretary of the Board of Trustees is billed to address members of staff on Wednesday, the 1st of June, 2016 at the NEC Hall.

Meanwhile, the new National Caretaker Committee led by H.E. Senator Ahmed Makarfi will hopefully assume office officially at the Secretariat of the Party on Wednesday, 1st of June, 2016.

Members of staff, Party Members and our teaming supporters nationwide are advised to remain calm and continue to support the Party in its continued quest to move Nigeria and democracy forward.
